Sonia Krishna, M.D. is a board-certified physician, specializing in Psychiatry. Dr. Krishna trained and completed her psychiatry residency at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She also completed a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry there. She graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Krishna has treated a wide range of patients in multiple clinical settings including: UCLA and its affiliated medical centers, the West LA and Sepulveda Veterans’ Medical Centers, county mental health clinics, non-profit medical clinics, and in LAUSD schools.
Dr. Krishna has been recognized by the American Psychiatric Association as a national Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration Minority Fellow. She remains actively involved in the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as a committee member for the Complementary and Integrative Medicine council.
